Movie Review: Drive

This movie is so effed up. I don't even know where to begin. So much blood. At this point I don't even know what the plot line is... So overall I would not suggest this movie! Lots of graphic violence and a little nudity so eww.

Basically, bye!

OOTD - Thursday, August 16

Here is my outfit of the day for yesterday!

Ignore my awkward face and pose in this pic, but here is my OOTD!

So in it I'm wearing the classic white shoes that I got from Payless for about $15! Check out my previous post for more details! My leggings are the "Zella Live-In Leggings" that were also mentioned in a previous post and are $52 and I absolutely love them. They seem to go with almost everything. Lastly, my shirt is from Nordstrom Rack, and I don't know the exact price cause I got it so long ago, but it was definitely under $30!

Well I hope you enjoyed my OOTD!

Basically, bye!

Back to School Outfits

So, yesterday my sister, my friend, my friend's sister, and I had a photo shoot! In it, I wore some of my possible back to school outfits so I thought I'd share them with ya'll!

I got the top at The Buffalo Exchange for like $8 and the skirt at Forever 21 for about $13 and the shoes are my sisters and I believe she got them at 6pm (the store not the time lol) for about $30. I don't typically like heels/wedges but for some reason I am in love with these! I basically tried to wear them with every outfit, oops! ;) Anyways, this is one of my favorite outfits, but the shirt is, as you can maybe tell, is see through, so I wore a bandeau with it, but I think I would have to wear a tanktop underneath if I wanted to wear it to school.

From this pic you can tell that it's kinda see through, but I still love it just the same!

And here's my next outfit...

So these are the leggings I talked about in one of my earlier posts, but they're "Zella Live-In Leggings", they're $52, and I LOVE them. My shoes are also from an earlier post and they were about $15 from Payless. My sweater was like $8 or so from Value Village!

Seriously thrift shopping is soooooo worth it. So many great deals and cute stuff. Now, thrift shopping is about 85% totally horrifying clothing you would rather die than wear, but the other 15% is stuff you would kill to wear. So if you go, don't get discouraged if you don't find anything right away, just keep looking!

Well that's how my day went yesterday. I'll try and take a pic of my OOTD soon!

Basically, bye!

Horror Movies

So basically today I'm just chillin and watching a horror movie with my sister and eating some Coldstone, yay!

But for all you horror movie fanatics out there, here are my thoughts on some of the ones I've seen...

The Conjuring: Okay this is by far the scariest movie I have ever seen. I'm all for horror movies, but this scared the living crap out of me. I'm still not really sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing but if you want to be scared out of your wits then this is definitely the movie for you.

Would You Rather: This movie had a terrible ending. It was kind of gory but not too bad. I thought it was pretty good though and very intense.

Nine Dead: This movie is kind of like a whodunnit movie where you're trying to figure out what the connection between all of the people that have been kidnapped is, and why someone wants them dead. This is on Netflix so if you're bored, I'd recommend it as some mindless horror to watch while doing something else.

Mama: This movie is super creepy and I actually think it's pretty good! The kids in it are pretty eerie but they definitely make the movie! I would suggest this movie, although the ending is pretty dumb and doesn't really make any sense.

Grave Encounters 2: So I haven't seen the first movie, but I have seen the second one. It's VERY good and VERY freaky. I would suggest it cause it's a kind of different type of horror movie which makes it good. I've heard the first one is really good, too!

Chernobyl Diaries: Well first off, Jesse McCartney is in this movie and HELLO he is fineeee so that's a plus. This movie is based on a true story so that, to me, makes it even creepier. Overall, it's very pop-out weird and scary, and the ending makes like no sense, but it's still a good movie and so I'd recommend it!

Saw Movies: Be warned, these movies are DISGUSTING. Body parts are chopped off, skin is ripped, just bad things happen. Honestly though, injuries just kind of make me laugh. So when I'm watching those movies, someone chops off their foot for example, and I just kind of start laughing, but then I feel bad so I just look away and stop laughing. Anyways, if you're even a little squeamish at all, I would suggest NOT watching these movies, you will most likely throw up. They are nasty. But the plot line is pretty good and definitely creepy.

The Stepfather: This movie hits very close to home because it is a lot like a real situation. I love this movie though, it's so scary and life-like and good. The ending is scary as well.

Prom Night: This movie is scary af and makes me freaked for prom night. There's a relatively large amount of bloody scenes in this movie, but it's not too gory. I did like this movie though and I think it was a good amount of scary and gory, not too much of either.

The Last Exorcism: This movie is just plain weird. If you like supernatural movies though, you'd like this one. It's all about an exorcism that just goes horribly wrong. It's really weird. I would recommend it, it's just one of those movies ya kind of have to see.

Texas Chainsaw 3D: So these movies are pretty good, the massacre people are creepy looking. But overall, I think it was a good movie. Scary, but good.

The Orphan: This movie basically is so freaking scary. The ending freaks me out and just the whole plot line is super creepy but I really liked it and it actually freaked me out.

Paranormal Activity 4: First, this movie actually has a good plot and I really liked it, and second, the girls boyfriend in this movie is basically the perfect guy and I love him. I pretty much want to marry him. Anyways, yeah good movie, definitely recommend it!

Sinister: Well this movie scared the crap out of me as well. This movie has one of those creepy faces in it that you'll definitely see in your dreams if you're not careful. I just tried to look away when the creepy face was there, but I honestly couldn't even watch the ending, I just had my sister tell me what happened cause I was so freaked.

Insidious: This movie is also super creepy and kind of hits close to home because of the plot. I really liked it even though it was scary though! Would recommend this one!

Dark Skies: This was really good, but it's like an alien movie which I found kind of weird. But I really liked it and it was very creepy which made it even better!

House at the End of the Street: This movie has Jennifer Lawrence so all you hunger games fans out there will appreciate that! This was a good movie too, and also creepy. Would suggest this to others!

A Haunted House: Kay well this is basically the dumbest movie ever. I do not suggest watching it, it is pretty much a complete waste of time. The ONLY good part about this movie is that you get to see that one main guy from White Chicks' butt. So that was nice. But other than that it's super dumb and really sexual and weird.

A Nightmare on Elm Street: This movie is hecka weird and creepy but I totally liked it at the same time. It's super creepy and the ending is creepy as well, but I would definitely suggest it if you're looking to be scared to go to sleep.

The Roommate: This movie is very creepy and there is one scene that involves a belly button ring being ripped out of someone's stomach and eww. I think I almost threw up. But this movie is so creepy it's awesome.

Flash: This movie is very creepy and there's lots of intense pop out moments but it's so good. I really liked it! Would definitely recommend it!

House Hunting: This movie is soooooo long, but if you have time, it's worth it in the end, cause it's a pretty good movie. Not my favorite, but not bad!

Okay well I think that's all the horror movies I've seen so far. I'm probably going to watch more, so I'll do another one of these later!

Basically, bye!

Back to School Must-Haves

Personally, I am a giant fan of leggings; I would wear them every day if I could. So it's no surprise that one of my bts must-haves is a pair of leggings.

These leggings are Zella's "Live In Leggings" in black and they are my absolute favorite and they are not see through at all and I just love them and you can wear them with basically anything. They are $52 at Nordstrom.  Here's a link if you want to check them out!

Another bts must have is a comfy sweater. You can find these basically anywhere, from thrift shops to Forever 21. Here are some examples from www.Forever21.com

These sweaters range from $14.80-$22.80 at Forever 21 and I think they're definitely worth it! You can pair these sweaters with leggings or skinny jeans, and ankle boots (combat, cowboy, etc) and scarves too!

Another bts must-have is some cute tennis shoes! If you're willing to pay the money I definitely suggest investing in some Vans or Keds or Converse! All 3 brands last a long time and are super cute! But, if you're looking for a cheaper version of those kind of shoes, check out Payless for some cute, simple off-brand ones! Personally, I have some from all 4 places. Here are some of the choices you have from each brand!

The above shoes are from the brand "City Sneaks" and are sold at Payless and cost around $17.99 when not on sale. I have a few pairs of these and I love them, they stay together very well and if you wanted you could draw on them to customize them (but I'll get into that later). Just beware that since they are white, they will get dirty! You can always wash them though!

These shoes are Converse and are typically $50 (or less if you go to an outlet) and also last forever. I've had my pair for 4 years and they are still in pretty good shape, not perfect, but I can still wear them! These shoes also might get dirty, but you can definitely wash them (I've done this before) and the color doesn't fade!

These particular Keds are $40, but on sale you can find them for cheaper. I don't love these, but I have only had one pair and it was a while ago, but from what I've heard they're pretty quality shoes.

I have these exact pair of Vans (they're canvas authentic) and I absolutely adore them. I've only had them for about a year, but they have lasted very nicely! You would think that the color would make them hard to match with stuff, but they definitely work well with a BUNCH of different stuff. These are typically $45 and I think they are well worth it!

Alright, my next bts must-have is some graphic tees. You can basically find these at any department store. Forever 21 carries loads of them, Nordstrom has some as well and almost any store you can think of.

All the above tops are from Forever 21 and range from $13.80-$17.80 and I think they're all well worth it, Forever 21 stuff is very cute and seems to last long enough!

Kay, one of my last bts must-haves are flannels and denim shirts/vests/jackets.

Personally, I found my denim jacket at a thrift shop for under $15 and I love it and it's totally cute, so I suggest hitting up your local thrift shop or Value Village or Goodwill for some cheap denim jackets!

I also found my denim vest at a thrift shop (sort of). I bought a denim jacket and did a little DIY magic and voila I had a denim vest! I'll post a how-to soon! It's perfect because it only cost like $8 and it's super cute! I suggest checking your local thrift shops before you go and pay 40 some odd dollars on something you could've done yourself for under $10!

Another super cute top that is definitely a must-have is a denim shirt! These are different from denim jackets because they are MUCH thinner and more like a shirt! I personally found a super cute one for about $15 at Fred Meyer, but you can find them at places like Forever 21 as well.

This particular one is from Forever 21 and is $22.80 and super cute!

Lastly, I LOOOOOVE flannels so they are definitely a bts must-have. I got one of mine from Kohls for pretty cheap and good quality, but you can also find these in most thrift shops! And Forever 21 of course, they seem to have everything!

These flannels range from $19.80-$24.80 at Forever 21 and are super cute! The last one is studded!

I hope you get inspired to grow your bts wardrobe after seeing this!

Basically, bye!
